What is a Bitcoin Blockchain certificate?

The Bitcoin Blockchain certificate is at the core of the Bernstein service.  It contains all the information regarding the documents registered on the blockchain: who the owner is, when the documents were registered, and where in the blockchain their cryptographic fingerprint was included (block number, transaction).
